THE SUBJECT WAS MOSES:
The Joyce Kaufman Pro-Israel Video
"Feel free to use, edit and make me seem psycho
... I know you."
- Joyce Kaufman -
"And, following dinner, there they would sit - upon the railing, feet on
the rocks, watching the yachts take their lingering and recreational journeys,
under the bridge, and onward. They would speak of ... things, but not of
Talk Radio. Two liberals, flicking their spent cigarettes into the waterway."
FAST FORWARD and FOREWORD
...
2010: Joyce takes the stage, dressed just shy of Linda Hamilton in 'Terminator
II: Judgment Day', as if cocking a pump rifle with the impulse jerk of a
single hand. I wouldn't be in attendance on this occasion - and the resulting
camera footage held principally on the face, but I nevertheless conjured
a sultry image of Joyce in a pair of camouflage slacks.
I watched the video while Joyce was online and - at about four minutes in
- I tapped her a flippant message at the keyboard that, in paraphrase, expressed:
"You look fucking hot when you're angry. You can dominate me any time."
Joyce returned, "Dominate YOU? HA!"
By this time, the video had, indeed, 'gone viral' on YouTube - securing over
100,000 views in short order, and rapidly climbing. Subject: The Support
of Israel. And, as it relates to a presentation of particular interest to
Jewish audiences, it was clearly drawing higher numbers than even a decade-long,
seasonal run of Steve and Eydie at the Sunrise Musical Theater.
But the thing is ... It's not about Jewish audiences - or the Jewish people.
Or even Israel. It's about any of us - all of us - who wish for the continuation
of a - yes - more civilized world, relative to the sociopathic and psychopathic
worldview of Muslim fundamentalists - and not just 'the radicals', as a point
of false distinction. For while there are somewhat more 'moderate' members
of the Muslim faith, the Muslim teachings are - point of fact - radical in
nature. Radical as written. Radical, indeed, as an integral part of its
fundamentals. There is no room for political correctness here. To
pretend otherwise, citing the Muslim faith as one of peace, is complete and
unadulterated ... bullshit. And this, not coming from a JewBoy - but a fallen
Catholic.
So, no - Joyce is not a 'psycho', and I wouldn't ever characterize her as
such - not by way of editing or any other form of media trickery. Rather,
the ones who have called for the eradication of Israel and, by extension,
the Jewish people ... yeah - they're the psychos. As a point of history
- we have, after all - met them before. And, as a point of more contemporary
times, we live with them ... now.
It's true, my own long-lived support of Israel has become what some might
call 'more radicalized' since 9-11. Prior to that event - and frequently,
still - the Goys among us have often offered a perfunctory support of Israel,
served lukewarm from a lounge chair, with an involvement that resided somewhere
between the theoretical and the academic. Intellectualized, but seldom felt.
Cocktail party fashionable but more precisely, fashioned, by trendy
design. Too few among us would come to terms with the sobering realization
that the people of Israel would wake each morning - every morning - to the
prospect of 9-11, several times over - if in smaller gulps, perhaps, but
far more protracted in its omnipresence.
But with the fallout of 9-11, so many would head yet another way ... Simply
putting aside the inherently anti-Semitic simpletons who cited this horrific
act as one orchestrated by the Jews, several of the more 'sane' -
or less nutty - would nevertheless direct blame on the Jews, relating
it to America's support of Israel. With this, there were those who suggested
that we should simply "let Israel go" and that such disassociation would,
in some way, take them off the Islamic hit list.
Dream on.
While America's support of Israel - often more vocal than actual - may have
been one element of Islamic hatred towards The United States, it would represent
only one piece of a far larger, fanatical, psychopathic puzzle. But
let's say that such support was the only reason behind 9-11 - among
yet other acts of terrorism against American interests. I ask you, do you
disavow your personal friends - perhaps, your best friend -
because they've been victimized by the hatred of a third party, and this
may - in some way - inconvenience you? If so, take me off your 'Friend
List' ... now. And remove me from your Address Book while you're at it. I,
for one, stick by my people.
America has but two choices: Remain the humanitarian-reference, Super Power
it always desires to be - or become The Biggest Pussy on Earth. For the two
simply can't coexist in the same place, on the same plane. There is no overlap.
There is no dovetailing of the joints. It's one ... or the other.
With this, I nevertheless do harbor some feelings of disappointment with
Israel - or its powers, more precisely - in more recent times. It is my firm
belief that to give up so much as a single inch in the false hopes
of peace sends an indelible message of grave consequence ... One that says,
"What do you know? If you push hard enough - and long enough - terrorism
works". And in Islamic circles, in their twisted little minds, they have
all the time in the world. This, after all, is a war that predates
the post-war State of Israel by thousands of years. It is for this reason,
as one who hails from American liberalism, that I'm far more in accord with
the 'militant' hard-liners of Israel.
The solution - if one is to be had - will likely be by way of complete,
pound-into-the-sand, dominance. Sorry, but ... there's no one to negotiate
or 'reason' with here. There are no wayward, maverick Nazis working
back channels to overthrow Hitler. There are only two basic factions among
Islamic Fundamentalists: The Josef Mengeles - and the Klaus Barbies. End
of story. Don't delude yourselves into believing otherwise. I say this to
the people of Israel most of all - the moderates, in particular. But Americans
need to listen to what I'm telling you, as well - if only in your
'self-interest', which would be typical. Perhaps many of you simply
need to 'recalibrate'. Don't think of it as 'Pro-Israel', which makes you
oddly uncomfortable. Think of it, instead, as 'pro-civilization'. For the
enemy that confronts you - Jew and non-Jew, alike - is anything but civilized.
In fact, it's the very thing they want to take away from you.
Or perhaps the more noble among you will be more comfortable seeing the support
of Israel as a means of repaying a debt ... I can't even begin, in the space
of this piece, to remind you of just how much the Jewish people have
positively contributed to your daily existence. From the arts, to
the sciences - and virtually at all points in between, the Jews have brought
as much to the table - arguably more - than any other group of people in
your land. It would have been a very different America - a decidedly
diminished one - without the contribution of the Jewish people. This,
while generally representing less than 3% of the total American population.
And I won't even start with their worldwide contributions - all against
sizable odds and profound hardships - throughout history.
So, if nothing else, perhaps you can lend support as a sort of 'Lifetime
Achievement Award' to the Jews. No single group of people would deserve it
more, it seems to me. And as to the Palestinians don't ask
the seemingly obvious, comparative question of 'what have they contributed
to this world?' Ask, instead, the far more telling question: 'What
have the Palestinians contributed ... to themselves?'
Checkmate.
I know that Joyce's keynote speech at a Pro-Israel rally, offered below,
will evoke a variety of responses - many of them not particularly good ...
"That whining Jew", I hear in their minds. "Can't 'those people' just
forget about the Holocaust, already?" ... Jew Cunt, in short.
Yes, she speaks with something more tailored to what was likely a predominantly
Jewish audience, if while making a reasoned appeal to all Americans
- or to all of those who remain 'Pro-Civilization'. Her presentation often
mixes stridency with anger. Yes, this doesn't always play well to The Goys,
it's true. And regrettably, these are the ones who often need the most
convincing, the most coaxing and prodding.
But if one were to simply 'read it', as 'transcript', Joyce's keynote speech
serves up a number of entirely valid reasons why Israel has 'the right to
exist', without resistance - and in peace. Yes, if I were her speech revisionist,
'Reason 7' - that which Joyce cites as "the most important" - would have
been scratched. And why? Because it cites a biblical reference - that which,
more globally - is in contention, supported only by 'faith' and 'belief'.
Such can't, by operational definition, "settle it", as Joyce argues. It,
instead, can potentially serve to diminish the objective arguments of
verifiable fact that precede it. But that's me. ... Mistress Joyce
will probably give the 'Spanky Domination of Joseph' a go now ... I
know she has the wardrobe, after all, borrowed from her Harley Davidson
days ...
So, with that, I give you Joyce Kaufman - if in defiance of her prediction
-- un-'used' and unedited ...
